About Stanchion

Alex began his commercial real estate career in 1999 as a leasing agent for a grocery-anchored development company. He then spent 12 years as Vice President of Development for Lincoln Harris, where he was responsible for sourcing and executing development projects within North Carolina and South Carolina.

Following his tenure at Lincoln Harris, Alex was a partner at Tribek Properties for four years before co-founding Stanchion with Greg Blinn and John Boyle in 2017. Throughout his extensive career in commercial real estate, Alex has been responsible for all aspects of the development process including site selection, entitlements, contractual/venture structuring, leasing, civil/architectural design oversight, financial underwriting, capitalization and project implementation.

Prior to launching Stanchion, Greg was a credit derivatives broker for Creditex Group, Inc. in New York City. During his seven years at Creditex, Greg helped transform the High Yield Tranche desk into one of the top performers in the market.

Since his departure from Wall Street, Greg has syndicated and personally invested in numerous real estate ventures. His breadth of experience includes developing and acquiring retail assets, GSA facilities, student housing properties and residential subdivisions.

John has been involved in commercial real estate and finance since 2004. Before becoming a founding partner of Stanchion, he was a director at Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, facilitating the origination of more than $1 billion of mortgages for multifamily, retail, office and industrial properties.

Prior to Berkadia, John spent nearly a decade in finance in New York City as an asset-backed securities broker for Creditex Group, Inc. and Compagnie Financière Tradition. John has extensive experience in all facets of the real estate acquisition and refinance process, having also been an owner/operator and syndicator of CRE since 2006.
